Thank you again for being willing to join with me in this effort. I am more thankful than I can say for your willingness to sacrificially walk alongside me.
God has called me to the ministry at an inconvenient time, humanly speaking, and the cost of Seminary and supporting my family while I go is enormously overwhelming. Your help is a tremendous encouragement to me.
I currently receive financial support from a few individuals and tuition support from my former church, Redeemer, ARP in Christiansburg, VA.
I am under the oversight of the Elders at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church as I evaluate the next steps in my journey. They have been very encouraging and helpful. That said, they do not have a system to handle donations for me at this point and so any support that you can offer will have to come directly to me.
There are several different ways to offer your financial support.
Monthly Contributions as a Pathwalker:
It would be our great joy to have you walk this path with us by committing to pray and support us on a monthly basis. Your monthly contribution of any amount will continue to remind us of your love and will bless us with the knowledge of your love and support for our effort to expand the Kingdom of God.

One-Time Contributions as a Trailblazer:
We understand if you are not able to make a long-term commitment to monthly giving, and we appreciate your efforts to blaze the trail ahead of us by giving us a one-time boost that will provide for us in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you!

Our Current Prayer Requests:
Constantly increasing love for God and His Word
Protection against pride and coldness from theological study
Strength and energy in the face of a taxing schedule of both work and study
Wisdom in determining the right course for seminary and full-time ministry beyond seminary.
That our needs would be met

What about the IRS?
According to the IRS instructions for form 709, United States Gift Tax Return, an individual can give up to $15,000 annually to any entity or entities without paying any gift tax. Couples filing jointly can give up to $30,000 without paying any gift tax. This exemption doesn't apply to any giving to 501(3)c, non-profit organizations, it is only to individuals or entities who are not non-profit.
Long and short: You are able to give to individuals up to $15,000 as an individual or $30,000 as a couple without filing anything on a tax return. It is considered non-taxable to either the donor or the recipient.
Please note: The Donor cannot receive a tax deduction for donations to me as an individual.
